- All company employees who perform or sell GreenPro services must get GreenPro training
- The companies must regularly communicate with clients about conditions conducive to pests, infestations, and ways to prevent pests
- Companies must document and provide thorough pest inspection and monitoring services and follow-up to ensure efficacy
- There must be a focus on integrated pest management (IPM) strategies like exclusion, habitat modification, sanitation, making repairs, and removal of water and food sources
GreenPro will not certify services that include any of the following:
- Rodenticides placed in locations accessible to nontarget animals or children
- Unjustified indoor pesticide applications
- Unjustified high-volume routine pesticide applications
- Preventive pesticide applications based only on the calendar
